Blower not operating upon arrival. At air handler control board coded “blower motor communication error”. High and low voltage both good at control board. Tried reset board couple time but would immediately code again. All signs indicating blower motor has failed. I replaced blower motor, board still giving same fault code. We then had to replace board. After installing new board, got code for “no data network “. Which means board had to be reprogrammed for unit using memory chip. I had to go to Goodman purchase memory chip and return to home again. I programmed board. System now operating. Monitored system operation for a while to ensure air handler or condenser did not go in to lockout mode again. System operating at time of departure.
Condenser in lockout mode due to HP trip. I power reset condenser got back checked amperage on motor In high speed and low speed. Fan running within range in both speeds, but fan is very hot at touch reading 134degrees after only operating a short time. Informed Alex of what’s going on we then decided to go back with a OEM motor from Goodman. Went to grab motor and returned to install OEM motor. System operating properly at time of departure.
Condenser fan motor going failing causing system to go into lockout mode on High Pressure Trip. Replaced condenser fan motor. 19 degree temp split. System operating properly at time of departure.
The casita and downstairs thermostats were wired and programmed for gas heat. I reprogrammed and wired the thermostats for the heat pump verified operations. The unit is operating properly now.
I checked the system and found the three zone zone board has gone bad and sending mixed signals out to the equipment and the dampers. Previous repairs had been done on the upstairs damper and has been damaged. Need to replace the upstairs 16 inch damper and three zone zone board.
AC Repair in El Mirage. return to install blower motor unit running at departure with a 19° temperature differential homeowner worked out payment plans with Office . I collected $500 cash. Suggested the homeowner to still do maintenance on unit.
Arrived to home after another company was out here and found that indoor variable speed blower motor was bad. The previous company installed a dual capacitor and cleaned both coils. Homeowner wants to move forward with repair and finance, we will email her the application and let her know when it’s approved. Monday we will find out the availability of motor and a more exact price because motor may be under a parts warranty. I will leave an estimate for the price if it is not under a parts of warranty. Unit is not running at departure and has no temperature differential.
